Welcome to the Energy Stories Site for the TAKTEEN Project
The TAKTEEN project is a 3 year project looking to investigate the use of digital technology to change energy use behaviour of teenagers in the home. The project's aims are to engage with teenagers on energy issues and design cool products that teenagers want to interact with, whilst also influencing their energy use. We are looking to explore:
- How teenagers relate with energy?
- how can we design appropriate technologies for teenagers?
- How can we change energy behaviour in teens and engage them in reducing energy use?
The project is a collaboration between the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN), Northumbria University, Swansea University, Birmingham University and the London Knowledge Lab at Birkbeck University of London.
